There are many types of travel pillows on the market today, but some of the most adaptable one are inflatable. An inflatable travel pillow is a must have item for someone who travels a lot, either for business or pleasure. These pillows can be deflated and slipped in your purse or travel bag because they take up very little room. They have different covers, and can be used almost anywhere, not just for travelling.
Many people who travel complain of a stiff neck or a headache. These problems are caused by tense neck muscles. An inflatable travel pillow would be perfect for someone who suffers from these issues. A traveller could get in the vehicle, blow up the pillow, get comfortable, and then be on their way. Once they've reached their destination, all they would have to do is deflate it and then store it in a purse, briefcase, or carry on bag. Inflatable pillows are appropriate for any vehicle, whether its a car, train, or a plane.
When some people think of inflatable pillows, they assume that they are only available in plastic. While plastic is the main material, it isn't what you feel against your skin usually. The plastic of an inflatable travel pillow is often covered with fabric or micro fleece. Even if you have an older one that is only plastic, its very easy to slide a cover over it and still have access to the valve to inflate or deflate the pillow.
Once you start using an inflatable travel pillow, you'll come up with excuses to use it when not travelling. A lot of women use their travel pillow in the bath or hot tub when they are soaking and relaxing. This is just fine, as long as you don't fall asleep. Or you might have an office chair that doesn't offer much neck support. You could bring your travel pillow to work and use it. Your boss won't mind as long as it makes you more productive instead of lulling you to sleep. What about laying on the couch watching television? If you need some extra support there, go ahead and use your travel pillow.

I certainly own one at the moment but after using it couple of years, it's all worn out. Time to get a new one as this old one will be at home now. They help with my neck especially if you're traveling a lot.
